Alright, Emmys Pt 2.  Second verse, same as the first.

An Emmy simile for you.
Sometimes I feel like I'm Louis van Amstel, choreographer of Dancing with the Stars Episode 303a.  He was up for outstanding choreography, against Wade Robson & Mia Michaels (So You Think You Can Dance) and the team of John DeLuca and Rob Marshall (Tony Bennett: An ( Read more... )

I'm glad you haven't gotten to the acting, etc stuff yet. That gives me time to do a post for the Big 10 categories without being biased by your posts! :)

Also, I ALWAYS love when you used that icon. ALWAYS.

Okay ... you might have just convinced me to watch 30 Rock. Tracy stabbing Conan? What?! How did I not hear about this until now?

Part of me kind of hopes Stephen doesn't win just because his character's persecution complex is so fantastic. The whole Manilow thing was brilliant last year ... but I'm not so sure Tony Bennett would play along.

Katie, I have to be honest. In a lot of ways, 30 Rock is more funny than The Office. After the first 3 or 4 episodes, I stopped watching it too, but then came back to it by the time Tracy Does Conan and never looked back. At first I thought it might have been better suited as an hour-long show, but it really hit its stride mid-season. I hate to give it away, but Entertainment Weekly agrees that 30 Rock deserves to win the Emmy for best comedy. I'm not saying Entertainment Weekly is the best publication, but I am saying that I'm not just full of crap. I know that sounds sacrilege, but you not watching 30 Rock is like me not watching Friday Night Lights. I'll give it a try if you do.

This has nothing to do with your Emmy post, but I'd like to point out that the Juno trailer is finally up. Not for sure if you've heard about this, but the buzz is hawt.

I read about it in EWs Fall Movie premiere. I love the cast. I hope Ellen Page isn't as creepy as she is in Hard Candy, though. Doesn't look like it.

I don't know if you're seen the red band trailer for No Country for Old Men, the new Coen bro. adaptation of the Cormac McCarthy book of the same name, but it's really good. Kind of violent, hence the red band, but it looks really good.

It'll ask you for your birthday, but it's worth it, I think. Especially is you like Javier Bardem. I don't know. This may not be at all up your alley, but it looks cool.
