About that reboot picture...
...I lightened it up a little and increased the saturation, and here's what it looks like:
The cape is definitely bright like we like it, but it looks like the blue bodysuit is a lot darker, as well as the yellow in the shield and belt. I can live with that.
I'm fairly confident he's got the red overunderpants on as well, but I can't tell what they look like from this; making the pic lighter only makes it pixellated, not clearer.
Overall, I feel like this is Batman in a Superman suit. It's dark and gritty and industrial. Do not want.
And is it just me, or does he have a giant forehead and poofy hair? Either one would be bad, but together he just looks ridiculous, or like he's actually bald and is wearing a wig. Definitely do not want.
At least he looks pretty good with the S-curl.
