Time flies when you're away from LJ for this long

My god, has it really been an entire year since I've posted here? I can't believe it...

So, reasons for my absence:

• Grad school, year 2 of 3. It's been a long trip.
• My fiance and I broke up in December 2011. At this point I'm just about recovered, but needless to say that was an extremely difficult and painful process.

I'm doing Graphic Design. The problem is that I've only decided for that this year, and I'm kinda rusty for school life.

I was really sad to see her go too. She was among my best friends on LJ. :(

It would be my last semester for a bachelors (sadly it's looking like I'll need to do a couple more retakes before I'm through and who knows when that will be?) I'm general studies but I've taken coursework in museum, dance, history, and business. I consider it a good baseline for a small museum because you're acting so much like a business at that level because things are so completely tight. Museum work is literally my job, even if it's only a few hours a week. Ideally, once the bachelors is finished I'll consider applying for a masters or at least continuing ed certificates from a few places. The continuing ed certificates have my husband's approval more than a masters does. But first I need to graduate before anything else happens

Gotcha and good luck with the rest of it! We're learning a lot about administration/business concepts too in library science, because a library is basically a business, even if many of them are non-profit. Right now I'm taking knowledge management, which is about how to ensure the organization utilizes the knowledge of its employees effectively; it's pretty interesting.

Clearly you've never heard the story about what I did after watching SR, lol. I breezed through all the fanfic in the movie section of FF.net and was so desperate for more that I went through quite a bit of the (already enormous) LNC archive, lcfanfic.com, without even watching the show. Granted, I was really confused by some of it, but hey, it's still Superman, even if I don't like that particular incarnation. Most of the time I'll still read it, so remind me to check out your stuff. :D

Oh dear. LJ has been a little weird with all the updates, it seems like. Not sure I like the new way of posting.
