Marie detests the car and it makes me a nervous wreck while driving. I think part of the problem is that she can't see me, and her carseat is too high for a rear mirror to work. Walking?

So Morgan is now attempting WALKING! She will be standing and she will try to take a couple steps. I'm not ready for this! I really need to get her some sort of walker toy I suppose. So that she doesn't always do face plants. Any recommendations?

We have 5-ish teeth. 5-ish? How is there an -ish about teeth? Well, dear January mommies, she has more coming. They're breaking through all over the place. Found cute warm footed sleepers at Costco for $8. Carter's (so deceiving they are on sizes!) and very soft. They had the rubber no slip foot so should be great for running around the house as she's starting to walk. I bought 18M so they'd last through the winter (hopefully ( Read more... )

-first time pulled up to standing - august 11 (witnessed by my friend jan, during my sister rushie's labor)

-first tooth - still coming in, first noted to have broken through by jan, during rushie's labor on august 11.

-first solids - avocado, august 22

-crawling - august 24!

Clothes, again

Elyse wears 3-6 months, some 3 month onsies. Pants are loose, but her legs are too long for the three month now. Shorts in 3 months

Size three shoes.

She little, but shes only seven and a half months!
