i went to a preview screening of Good, which was followed by a q&a with three of the actors. the film is very thought provoking, with excellent acting by Viggo Mortensen and especially by Jason Isaacs and, imho, well worth seeing.
*is green with envy* ... maybe i'll see it after all. i'm not a man of movies that are frustrating, where you know already what's going to happen and are powerless to do anything but sit and chew you nails. i'm a fan of viggo's bofy language, regardless. it was one of the few things about appaloosa that made me sit through it.
it's not a frustrating film per se, strangely enough. i mean, it's clear that there's no happy ending likely, but it's too compelling and not finger-wagging not to be a good viewing experience. or so i found...
