ROME - The Vatican newspaper reported Saturday that a new Caravaggio painting may have been found in Rome, but cautioned that further analyses are required before it can be attributed for certain to the Italian master.Alec's breath caught in his throat as he read the headline. It wasn't the only one. Ranuccio remembered well, those hours spent posing for the artist...there were more paintings, lost, sold, stolen, pawned.

They were just memories he'd rather not dig up, hard as it was to bury them deeper and deeper day after day.

Days, weeks since he'd last seen Trevelyan. Would the doors still open for him?
Would he dare find out?

Never said I would bother with them. But I remember security being something impressive around here..still.

Maybe I'll try it. See it if someone else is sleeping in his bed.

ooc: the last interaction between Ran and Trevelyan was in 2006, iirc. What say you to make it real time in the current convo? four years since they've seen each other? Yay/nay? :)

Yay of course, what's time to a pup?! Wanna bring the picture into the thread? It is a poor excuse for a Caravaggio painting imho, but we can gloss over that and San Lorenzo has lots of interesting possibilities ;)

o_O.. how about they go stealing the painting together? some special reason Ran or Michele would not have wanted it to be public?

I liiiiike the way you think :D
yes yes, if it's okay with you, it's been 3 and half/four years (maybe with a couple of 'casual' meetings in the street or something like that? exchanging glances..) but Ran really really really cares about Trevelyan (the pup won't let me say more, though you know and I know he does, silly pup) AND he wants Trevelyan's help to steal the painting, yes :)
Some special reason...*ponders* can't think right now, brain is dead, but Ran will think of something, at least initially (and if you have ideas, do tell :D some secret indication to papal's treasures? or a lost Gospel? or just Ran wanting to be with Trevelyan and lying through his teeth, lol)...will have the pup mention it, then, yes?
