In some places of business, a 14 day non-voluntary unpaid vacation would be called "suspension". At Best Buy, that kind of thing will just happen out of the blue. And when you get upset about it, all of your supervisors and store managers will shrug and give you the "thems the breaks" speech. I work for incompetent assholes. I found a buyer for my old TV. He's buying the 30" LG for 350, making my out of pocket for the Sony LCD a grand total of 150 bucks. Deal I say, Deal. That also makes me not broke for the next week, and will work nicely towards fixing the heat pump that is pouring anti-freeze ALL OVER the passenger side floorboard in the Saturn.
