] Baking Days [

Today was a snow;baking;petshop visiting;movie watching; tamagotchi getting; subway eating; grad pics arriving; funfun day.

So last night, as I went to bed, I discovered that the snow that had fallen in the afternoon had not only continued, but also stuck, much to my surprise.

I was woken up by my Dad telling me to look out at the bright snow covered world.

It was a nice change from the snow that comes, makes life cold and misserable, but does not make itself worthwhile by staying.

Because it is spring break I have free time!!

Thus I planned to have some friends over to partake in the glorious adventure of... ... baking!!

Ryan, Greg, and Eythan and later Daniel all came over to make baked Alaska and fried ice cream.

IN the morning I tidied up, and Eythan came over first, Ryan and Greg arrived shortly after.

I had prefrozen balls of ice cream and we started by making the brownie mix and baking them, it served as Alaska.

Then we made the merange, rolled the other ice cream in the egg yolks, for the fried ice cream and headed down town to get the mail and go to subway.

We got the mail, and a package half the size of Daniel had arrived along with my TAMAGOTCHI COLORRRRR ZOMG.

Daniel carried the package which turned out to be my grad photo package.

We went to subway, ate and embarrassed ourselves (we brought Daniel, what else is to be expected)

Then we ran over to the nearby pet store where Greg cooed at his future ferret and we all tried to get the birds to like us.

I looked at replacement fish for Reeses (Alex's fish, being fishsat by me that my cat desided to not eat but kill anyway)

When we got back we finished off the baked alaska.

We put the ice cream on the brownies, then covered them with merange and OMG YES.

PUT THEM IN THE OVEN.

I will never get over the fact that I have eaten COLD ICE CREAM that was put in a 400 C OVEN.

NEVER. Not a chance of getting over that amazement.

It also turned out to be the BEST DESERT I'VE EVER HAD.

We all enjoyed it throughly

We lounged around for a while, our stomaches not only content but bursting at the seems, while the homemaker came and made Dad's dinner.

She also poured out half a bottle of brand new oil that I had just poured into a pot for the frying of the ice cream.

Thanks.

That aside, after she left we heated up a fresh batch of oil and attempted our first fried ice cream.

Please note; cold and hot do not go well together and please do not try this at home if you are any dumber than us.

I slowly put the ice cream into the oil, but immediately the oil began spatting and bubbling all over, which in turn got in the burner, which started a fire.

More oil burst over the sides as the fire grew from a few spats to 3 feet of flames.

All in this same moment a million things flashed in my mind; first OMGGGGG

Second; FIRE

Third; MY HOUSE. MY DAD. MY SHIT. ITS A COMPLEX. EVERYTHING WILL BURN. CALL THE FIRE FIGHTERS. WE'RE GUNNA DIE.

At the same time; PUT IT OUT PUT IT OUT. WATER WATER WATER WATER DIP SHIT!! OUT. NOW!!! CANT CANT CANT CANT WATER PLUS OIL EQUALS SPREADING THE FIRE MOARRRRRR OMGGGGG O________________________O

In the background PUT A PAN OVER IT PUT A PAN OVER IT GET BAKING SODA PUT A PAN OVER IT OMGGGGGGG~

I heard nothing from the back ground. As soon as my brain said water the other side repeated baking soda but my body replied with this

WTF YOU GET IT. IM BUSY BEING IN SHOCK!!! STOP YELLING AT ME AND GET IT

To which my brain replied YOU HAVE TO.

Then my brain said "............................... oh! you mean ME?!"

Then I grabbed it and put it out and everything way ok.

All this went down within about 45 seconds of course, but non the less, we did not attempt to make fried ice cream anymore.

I drove Ryan and Greg upto the bus stop a while after and Eythan stayed behind and helped me with the dishes and the REDICULOUS mess the oil had made.

Leave Ice cream to the asians

After dinner Eythan came back and we watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Oceans 11.

Then he went home and here I sit, now Ima go read with Dad and end this epicly eventful day :D

The end.
