AUish inspired from tumblr... again?
hey guys, so i've had a rough week but i'm gonna try and cheer myself up by writing a cute thing inspired by this post. enjoy!
Matsumura Hokuto was known for being late, especially to his dates with Taiga. This one, however, turned out to be very different.

"You're gonna take me on a dinner date? Like, in public?" Taiga asked, stoopified at Hokuto's idea for their Thursday off. Usually Hokuto would suggest going to one of their houses and just watching movies, among other things, but this time he wanted to take Taiga in public. Something seemed sketchy.
"I wanna show my beautiful boyfriend off." The taller one said, while putting his arm around Taiga's shoulder, somehow though, it felt like a cold gesture. This wasn't the first time Taiga's heart sank into his butt when Hokuto touched him.

"Sir, are you sure you wouldn't like to put your order in?" The waitress asked again, with a pitying look in her eyes, in everyone's eyes actually. He had been sitting here for an hour waiting for Hokuto. Calling him, texting him, munching on bread nervously, wondering if this was the end for him and Matsumura.
"Give me ten more minutes, if he isn't here by then, I'll pay you for your time and leave." Taiga said, trying as nonchalantly as he could, to hide his face under his bangs. The waitress nodded solemnly and walked back to her other tables.
Seven more minutes passed with no word from Hokku, Taiga was starting to give up, reaching for his wallet, when a slim boy slid into this seat where his boyfriend should have been an hour and a half ago.
"Baby! I'm so sorry I was late! I missed the train, are you mad?" The boy exclaimed loudly, then leaned in closer and whispered "My name's Juri, go along with it ok? I'll pay!"
"I forgive you, dear. Let's order then?" Taiga said, winking towards Juri. Who was he to turn down free food after being stood up?

Taiga had learned alot about Juri, just by the way he pretended to be conversing with Taiga as if they had been dating for years. Taiga laughed, played along, even enjoyed himself.After finishing dessert, the two walked back to Taiga's apartment complex hand in hand, keeping up the role of "boyfriends".
"How did you know I was being stood up?" Taiga finally asked before Juri had the chance to leave.
"My family and I were eating across the room, I told them I was gonna go offer you to eat with us, then I heard the waitress and I went to the bathroom and waited awhile. It was spur the moment, really, but we went to school with each other once so I couldn't let a classmate go hungry." Juri explained with the biggest, most pure smile Taiga had ever seen. Distantly, he's sure he remembered Juri, he just couldn't recall the exact time.
"Want to come in?" Taiga asked, with a gentle smile. Juri nodded happily and Taiga opened the door to beautiful new relationship, promptly shutting the door on an awful one.
