Hiroshi Uchiyamada is one of those teachers who feels it was his job to pick on and weed out students he feels unworthy of being a part of this institute. Hiroshi is an older balding man who had served the school for many years. It was well known he desires a higher position at Gakuin High, such as being on the board and working as vice principle. He was a very strict man who readily blindly followed the school rules and placed them on top of everything, and had very little patience. He was an overall jerk and a closeted pervert, and he enjoys groping unsuspecting girls behinds on the train. It was no secret the Hiroshi loathes Gendo because he was worried the man was better suited for a promotion then he was.
He is disliked by many of his students especially the delinquents with his eagerness to refer to them as ‘scum’ and ‘trash’. His daughter attends Gakuin High and is quite the bully; she is spoiled and gets away with everything due to her father’s teaching position and her mother being the head of the PTO. Hiroshi sees his daughter as a perfect angel of a student. His most prized possession is his new car which he brags about constantly and the fact that he is getting paid well for his job being tenure.
Hiroshi takes pride in his soccer team and makes sure they are up to par. He is a horrible coach and any victories the team wins is do to themselves with no help from Hiroshi. He had no talent in sports and tends to just tell the students what to do in PE, but he teaches this along with Health because before becoming a teacher Hiroshi was going to be a doctor. The work was too hard for him however.
Hiroshi was demoted to a Class B Block teacher after making Headmaster Toriyama angry, he plans to turn his students around and hopefully impress the Headmaster enough that he will receive his promotion after all.
