Repost. Written for akumanakoi for fic-the-faith; originally posted here. Slightly angsty?! And a kajillion thanks to Joo and Rin for all the help.
Summary: They've been friends for almost half a lifetime, but is friendship all there is to it? Ueda isn't so certain any more.

idk! On the original post a couple of people said since it was sort of open-ended they could see some kind of hope for Ueda for the future, which I thought was slightly optimistic even by my standards, but there you go :|
