Maybe I'm a little out of touch but... "blindvicing"?

You're only out of touch with the bottommost scummy underbelly of celebrity gossip speak. "Blind vice" or its predecessor "blind item" just means a gossip columnist will describe in great detail some usually sordid, often bizarre rumor about someone, but not outright name them to avoid libel suits.
The same columnist has previously run a blind vice that is widely agreed to be about james franco. It's less sordid than just kind of hilarious, even if it's 100% true.
