Why is the Little League World Series on tv?  I don't see a Pop Warner Superbowl or some kind of Boys/Girls Basketball Championships or the World Cup type thing. Granted, I wouldn't want any of those on tv either, but I'm just making the point of why LLWS has to be on tv.  Plus, nobody wants to see 12 year old boys being babies when they loose, ( Read more... )

Almost everybody has been accepted to a clinical rotation site.  Waterbury Hospital did not accept me as one of their two choices, which doesn't make sense at all considering I am from Waterbury and I would be working there afterwards.  It really is too bad for them because they lost out.  I'll make sure they regret it and it'll make me super ( Read more... )

New LJ background.  Decided to change it because I just finished watching Death Note.  Wanted something reddish, so it was either Hellsing, Devil May Cry or Vincent Valentine.  Still tinkering with it a bit.  Fellow LJers and random people let me know what you think   :-P    (I know it's not as good as the Death Note one!  That one was kick ass!)  ( Read more... )

I believe the last time I updated was before Med Tech Night.  MTN was a blast.  Props to Poonam for suggesting pizza and bowling instead of going out to a restaurant.  In all 6 showed up with Seth coming in and out so I'm not really counting him.  I experienced my first jello shot and it wasn't all that bad.  I did say I was only going to have one ( Read more... )

It's been about a week and a half since I moved into the dorm at Hartford Hospital.  I'm still adjusting to it because it's so quiet.  While at UConn, even if nobody was paying attention to the TV, it was still on, and that allowed for work to be done because it wasn't quiet.  I'm one of those who can work in a quiet environment, but highly prefer ( Read more... )
