I very nearly turned the computer on last night after midnight, as I couldn't get to sleep but restrained myself knowing that I could start at 8am this morning when I had the children safely on the bus to school, and the whole day would stretch before me with every opportunity of getting my word count for the day done

What a nuisance about the bus delay and the coursework - but yay you for getting started. Though at first glance I thought maybe you'd finished the whole thing in a day this year, instead of the week or so it took last year.

Not quite ROFLMAO! I'm seriously excited about just getting in the minimum word count this year, as I'm trying to write a whole load less crap than last year ;) and second yearers have a tendency to hit a slump because they get complacent (or some such thing)

Up to 1,769 now, I may even make my personal target of 2k before the end of the day... considering it's only 3pm and I can write whilst the children are home... although tv this evening is quite good *ponders*

It's just as well my characters know what they're doing because I haven't a frickin' clue until the words leave my fingertips *g*

How could I not have the Pretty Vampire (as he's referred to by the women of this house) there to perve over. He makes the show worth watching ;)

And, yes, I frequently want to slap him, but we all know where their minds are so I mostly settle for nagging *g*
