haha! sorry, I've only done homestay and ryokan the past 2 times I went to tokyo.

yeah ryokan is japanese style rooms, but toilets are shared lah. ^^; haha.

the location is pretty good, ueno is well linked to the usual spots like shibuya/shinjuku/harajuku/ikebukuro. ueno itself has the national museum and a casual shopping street.

i just checked the train map. the hotel's nearest train station (shin okachimachi)is quite ulu. frm airport you'll need to change train lines like 3 times to reach it. but that hotel is really gorgeous btw!
