ACL surgery (a real post for once :o)

Surgery done, had all sorts of drugs (IV bdz, fentanyl, oxycodone, clindamycin; and propofol to knock me out) in me yesterday and didn't regain complete coherence until now (still catching myself making stupid spelling mistakes though...).

Yeah, I'm okay. Still groggy from the general anaesthetics and the Tylenol-3's, but higher functioning capabilities are returning :p.
It's a 10 year old injury. I fell off a bike and torn the ligament by landing the wrong way, ever since then, have been having problems with it and this January, I had a bad fall and caused a minor fracture in the femoral condyle. I actually didn't know I torn the ligament until last year ( found out during general anatomy class actually) and decided to do reconstruction to minimize osteoarthritis later on down the road.

How are you doing? Are you applying to med school? They are doing some really cool stuff now. They only had to make 5 tiny holes around my knee, whereas before they had to cut it all open. And the drugs, man the drugs are amazing :DDD

oooooh......that's good. That you're recovering. Be careful in general!

yeah.....applying to med school......but wondering if it's too late/ if I should just take some med school classes instead. Well it seems useful in your case at least :D
