Really loving this fic and quite intrigued to see where you're heading with this (this chapter took me quite by surprise!), so I hope you don't mind me pointing something out?

Jack was thinking of his father and brother Franklin and Gray Harkness who had been lost to him.

The way you said it, it sounds a bit like 2 brothers, one named Franklin, one named Gray, so I'd change that around and say:

Jack was thinking of his father Franklin and brother Gray Harkness who had been lost to him.

And then of course his father's and brother's last name wouldn't be Harkness since Jack Harkness is not Jack's real name, he only took it from that dead soldier from 1941.
