Silence.
Screaming.
Calm.
Panic.
Targets in range.
We are the targets.
Sight down the rifle.
Shouted warnings fill the area.
Fingers curl around the trigger.
Energy bolts fly through the air.
Focus.
Run.
Steady.
Keep going.
Fire.
Heat and light all around.
A yell of pain.
Impacts close by.
Falling.
Crystal and metal raining down.
Flare of a spark.
Darkness.
Move on.
How long has it been?
Next target.
Not long enough.
Stay calm.
Silence.
Silence.
Stand up.
Stand up.
Look around.
Walk over to the enemy.
Everything is still.
No movement.
Broken bodies all around.
Broken bodies where they fell.
Crystal still singing with the resonance of war.
Energon soaking into the soil.
Energon bright against dull grey chassis’.
Their sparks are with Primus now.
Am I the only spark still here?
Chassis dulling to a washed out grey.
I cannot be alone.
Purple emblem slowly fading.
Some mech is screaming.
Broken like the mechs that haunt my dreams.
I think it might be me.
Vengeance.
Broken mind.
Broken enemies.
Dissonance.
Harmony.
