Today was the weirdest day Shun could remember.
Then again, it was the only day Shun could remember, which was half the reason for that.
She'd had the weirdest dream the night before--something about an art gallery, and a naive girl; that painting stuck in her mind, but not a whole lot else did--and when she'd woken up, she was... here. Jardin du Ciel. She was a transfer student, she knew that, but where she'd transferred from, and why, was a whole other story. So, she quickly realized, was everything else. It was all a blank, except for that dream, and one memory--that painting..
With a rising sense of unease, she'd rifled through her belongings for some clue, and found nothing but some clothes, a few posters, an MP3 player with one song (who the hell put only one song on an MP3 player, anyway?), and an ID card. None of it was much help.
Still, Shun had never been the type to panic, and she really hadn't seen a whole lot of options aside from getting herself situated. It had taken her a while to get her room situation sorted out (especially since she'd spent most of the time gritting her teeth and trying to resist the urge to shake someone down for answers), but now that she finally had, she was lugging her suitcase over to the dormitory building. She might as well get used to this place; it looked like she was going to be here a while, whether she liked it or not.
