Niko always took care to be punctual.

As a matter of fact, he was more than punctual, and arrived at the teachers' lounge fifteen minutes ahead of time--not quite as early as Susan, but certainly early enough. A matter of this importance couldn't afford to wait, after all.

Although the other professor seemed preoccupied, he spoke up nonetheless; an introduction couldn't hurt, and she could go right back to grading if need be.

"Pardon me. I'm Niko Siannis, the new sociology professor, and I'm here for the staff meeting."

At Niko's arrival, Susan stopped marking and looked up, sending the man a swift nod of acknowledgment.

"Good evening, Mister Niko. I am Miss Susan, the mathematics teacher. The meeting will begin at six; you may take a seat, if you wish."

"Thank you." With a small nod of his own, Niko settled into a seat facing the door so that he could observe the other teachers as they came in. For now, though, he didn't have much to observe besides the lounge, and Susan herself.

"Is there anything I should know about this incident apart from what's been going around the network?" Better he be informed now than have to play catch-up after the meeting had started, he reasoned.

"We will be discussing the recent disappearances of several students and one teacher," Susan replied. She viciously makes a few more marks on a student's homework with her red pen.

Somehow, Susan appears to be both completely calm and completely furious at the same time.

And one moments she isn't there, and the other she's sitting in one of the comfortable chairs, legs crossed. She's wearing a long, autumnal dress, high heels, and a slow smirk. Why the smirk is there, no one really knows. After all, there's nothing much to smirk about.

She's exactly on time, too.

[ooc: *couldn't quite pick which thread to respond to*]

Sparda had remained quiet in the corner, lounging in a particularly big seat by the window with a cup of hot tea in his hands and his suit-clad legs carefully crossed. He had great interest in this meeting but had no input as of yet. In fact, he had felt rather tired as of late --his demon side could sense the approach of this upcoming 'Halloween' holiday and was growing antsier by the second. The recent disappearances was not helping his mental health either, so Sparda spent most of his free time simply focusing on staying put, being calm and acting normal. He never thought it'd be so hard to keep up his human form for so long ( ... )

"That is the logical place to begin, yes," Susan replied. She was still sitting at her desk, just off to the side*. "We will also to need find out, as accurately as possible, exactly when the students disappeared. Current evidence suggests that it happened while everyone was...dreaming. We need to confirm this."

She turned to Yuuko, her eyes stern.

Susan wasn't happy with Yuuko. She'd hoped that the women would be more reliable. Well. At least now she'd give Yuuko the chance to redeem herself.

"Yuuko. You said a student witnessed Allen disappearing in the dream. Have you managed to recall which student that was?" She fold her hands in her lap and looks at Yuuko expectantly, giving the woman her full attention*.

*Some people might assume that Susan's choice of seating implied that she didn't consider herself to be leading this meeting, but rather just another individual in a group of equals. They would be wrong.
**This is not a good thing. Susan's full attention would send lions running.

Yuuko's plenty reliable, Susan, you just have to convince her that it's worth it. In any case, the glaring doesn't do anything to her-- she's used to much more, though she doesn't quite recall how right now.

Instead, she curls her legs up underneath her and smiles at Susan.

"I tried and tried and tried, and I think I managed to dredge up a memory of Miss Windia seeing Mr Lavi seeing Mr Walker."

Vincent has arrived to the meeting early, knowing that the last time he met with Susan for their duel, he was late, and that did not sit well with her. He is curious to know why so many students are disappearing, but he has decided that he will listen rather than speak up. There are things he'd rather not discuss, and he doesn't want anyone to drag these things out of him.

Susan didn't speak when Vincent arrived - she just sent him one swift nod of acknowledgment.

At least now she knew he's capable of being on time. She'll hold him to that, in the future.

[[ooc: Sorry I took so long to respond! Anyways, looks like the main meeting's ended up here, feel free to join in if Vincent wants to say anything.]]

One should never judge a book by its cover.

Dorian Gray, the new teacher of fine arts, was the very definition of that rule. With that curly golden hair and large sky-blue eyes one would expect from an innocent little girl or an excited puppy, he looked anything but responsible. In fact, he looked like a spoiled, forgetful airhead who would sooner wander around the local boutique than attend a staff meeting.

And yet, here he was. Sitting in a small chair to the side, dressed prim and proper and with a sparkle of intelligence and curiosity wandering in those innocent and yet childishly selfish eyes. A thin, barely visible, smile played on his lips, a smile expected from someone who found some kind of peculiar inside joke in everything that was spoken around him and couldn't help but enjoy it.

He listened to everything spoken with incredible eagerness, as if every ounce of knowledge meant everything to him. Of course, how could it not? He needed to know how every party acted before he acted on his own.

Susan narrowed her eyes at Dorian's arrival. She didn't know this teacher yet, but something about that blonde hair and boyish face...with just a hint of something else underneath...irritated her.

He reminded her of Teatime. And anyone who reminded her of Teatime needed close watching.

[[ooc: Main meeting seems to have ended up here. Join in whenever, I guess? XD]]
