Kahoko tapped her toes on the concrete as she waited outside near the front gates of the campus. It was a nice day, despite it being October. The colors were so vibrant when the leaves started falling off of the trees. It was soothing. It tried to be, considering all that had happened at this strange school. Even though people said not to think about the disappearances, they were still on everyone's mind, whether they vocalized it or not. That, with the combination of the weird dreams... or memories... made Kahoko very nervous.
Kazuki already swore that he would protect her from harm. But what would happen if she just... ceased to exist? What if something happened to him? And what about those new memories that were so fresh every time she dreamed about them? Though Kahoko wanted to focus on shopping today, she could not escape these terrible thoughts in the end.
Deep breaths, Kahoko. Just. Deep. Breaths.
She had to think positively. So she focused on putting a smile on her face and looked forward to the possible new friends she would make. It'd be okay. It had to be okay...
