thank you so much for replying to fast. i have yet to pay my 20 dollar website cost, but i just cant decide whether i wanna do it in portugal or spain. i know i have zero time left if i wanna do it in that window i mentioned... but when everything in life is in limbo, then so will summer plans.
i really dont know what to specifically ask. hm, have you been wwoofing on the same farm or several different places in france? if several, d you prefer the ones who are farther away from cities or within a reasonable proximity?

i've been to many different farms. go to a place that really interests you, for instance, i know so much about vegetables and i wanted to learn about cheese, bees, medicinal plants and grapes and other fruit and making them into juices, alcohols, jams and syrups, so that was my goal in wwoofing this time around. often times you can tell by the descriptions the kind of people that work at the farms and that makes a difference too, you want to be with fun people. in terms of being close to cities, i think that's really a personal preference, i've already spent a lot of time in paris, tours, marseille...etc, so i didn't feel the need to be close to anything. however, i was just on a farm for a few weeks in the mountains in corsica, 20 km from a town and the ocean and a few km from a road and that was hard, no electricity, cell reception, computers...etc, but it was a really good experience for me. i figure if i want to go to cities, i can do it away from wwoof, between wwoofing, for instance, after the farm in corsica i went on a crazy ( ... )
