I wasted, nay, invested about 3 hours tonight playing Super Mario World on SNES. That game is freaking great. I haven't played it in about 8 years or so, but I have every jump in the game memorized still. It is kind of freaky, like my subconscious is playing and I am just kind of actively holding up the controller. I guess that is what a wasted

We have it now....and I think it is the best game ever.
The levels that you find in the center star of Star World have got to be some of the hardest levels ever.
The new(er) game for the DS is really good, we bought it last summer.

Yeah, I'm stoked to get to the Star World again. I always save it for last. Like I beat Bowser and go through the ending sequence, then go complete the Star World.

There are some pretty terrible or useless ones, like 8 pics of the same 2-inch, solid black infinity symbol, but there are some sweet Nintendo ones, too. I'm really afraid I will just open up Pandora's Box if I get a video-game related tattoo and won't be able to stop. Mario, Zelda, Mega Man, Dragon Warrior, man, I would be covered.

They need to have a revival of video game makers like they did for the SNES. The fact that they didn't have graphics made them make a great game. If they could just create more games like Super Mario World, Zelda:A Link to the Past, and Final Fantasy III (VI), I know I would be playing more video games. My Zelda tattoo is still in the back of my mind. one of these days...

It seems the Wii is starting to get back to that where the games are simpler and just fun. The only people who really give a shit about graphics and all that are fucking dorks and jocks and people without imaginations.
There is a PS2 Mega Man anthology I've been wanting to get. It is all the games up to the X series. I've been reluctant since I didn't want to spend weeks on end not doing anything but playing Mega Man, but I might have to pick it up soon since I don't have much else going on.
I miss the older RPGs. I picked up the last Dragon Quest (the continuation of Dragon Warrior) and it was pretty fun and all, but it just didn't have the charm or the old DW and FF series. There are too many animated sequences you can't forward through and shit. I like the old scroll text. Did you get the actual FF3 a while back when they released it for Gameboy? It looked pretty cool.
