I sat tonight with Ernest Hemingway and John Steinbeck, and neither seemed to interest the other much. Ernest would speak of the war, and no one ever knew to which war he was referring. Now I have to go graduate.

I finished my senior poli sci writing requirement today. I had to add five pages on to a paper I wrote two and a half years ago about the causes of the Greek War of Independence of 1821. This paper was already 15 pages long, and, needless to say, coming up with five more pages was something of a struggle. How much do I really have to say on this ( Read more... )

Illinois wins!

God, that was intense game. Even Mike was close to a heart attack. Near the end of regulation, with Illinois down, I made him switch seats with me so that I could sit in my lucky spot. That was the turning point. You can all thank me for the win later.
