How does being transitory negate having essence?   There could be a transitory essence, as in the notion of mono no aware.

You are referring to the Platonic essence not to the ontological essence, yes?

Take a look at David Bohm's theory of Implicate Order.

That said, implicate order could refer either to an a priori intrinsic implicate order (order precedes and mandates material thing) OR emergent co-extant implicate order (order is an illocutionary component of material thing).   Yes, I know I have just echoed the argument between a transcendent God and an immanent God.

Did you know that the original definition for meaning referred to intercommunication?   Basically, the definition refers to what one intended to convey/indicate ("What I mean is this") or the relevant importance one intended to attach to what one has conveyed or indicated ("And what is the meaning of this???") -- which is why two synonyms for meaningful (full of indication or full of relevant importance) are significant and purposefulSo when people first asked ( ... )
