I thought jobs couldn't legally -force- their employees to do overtime.

This is America, where corporations need not trouble themselves with other entities' so-called "rights".

I've heard about mandatory overtime on numerous occasions so apparently it's not all that uncommon a practice. As if 40 hours a week isn't enough of one's life to sacrifice to the little green pieces of paper...

You might want to check with the governmental entity that handles labor laws in your state. I've heard of precious few cases where companies can actually force their employees to work overtime.

Cool. ^.^ I'll scout out a good bear avatar for when you arrive... although I'm sure you'll wind up messing with it until you can mindfuck everyone who sees it. That's just how you are. ^.^;

Okay .. don't get me wrong. I love the RX-8. I have a 626 myself, and I just adore the entire brandname.

But what is it with so many gay geeks getting stuck in a callcenter job due to an RX series?

This is the fifth such incident I have witnessed/heard of. Statistical anomoly?
