While your intentions were good, I don't think it was jealousy in "that way". I think the jealousy may have come from the attention that the complete strangers get that you could be giving her. Rather than going online, after taking care of the kids (which would have been a bonus in my book), make her dinner...better yet, candle lit. Just to let her know that you still want to do special things for her to make her feel loved. Women are simple that way...that whole idea would have set her up for a good month...I speak from experience on this one...hell, Alex doing the dishes for me has become foreplay.

Thanks for the advice. Our relationship definately has been lacking romance so maybe I'll try this out this coming Thursday.
