For Tom

Richard has talked with Ada... now it's time to talk to Tom. He is sure this will be more difficult, but equally sure that it needs to be done. So he is looking for Tom, first in his room, then throughout the Mansion and grounds, if necessary.

Now if he only had any idea what he was going to say.

He'll have to look hard to find him. Tom has holed himself up in the stables and has no real intention of leaving.

Richard does, eventually, check the stables. He has, by this point, been looking for some time, and is rather concerned. "...Tom? Are you here?"

Tom moves further back into the stable. He knows he'll have to talk to Richard eventually but he's in no hurry.

Richard, frustrated leans against the wall and slides to the floor, cursing softly under his breath and hitting the back of his head softly against the wall.
