Here is, apparently, Molly Seagrim, looking much more serious than is her custom. She's looking for someone, in the main hallway, with no apparent success thus far.

It isn't, in fact, Molly... but given Molly's set of acquaintances, there are any number of people who might kiss first and discover crackplot second.

Well, of course Ada has to come by for this.

"Miss Seagrim! Is something the matter?"

"Ada! That is... oh dear." And Ada can immediately tell something's up, due to the lack of an accent, though it is Molly's voice.

She frowns. "Why, is something the matter? You sound..."

[jarndyceheir]

"Dash it all. I'm not Molly, is what. It's Richard." He really did not especially need this. But crackplots are rarely convenient.

And here her pet Frenchman just got himself uncrackplotted. "Good afternoon!"

"Oh. Good afternoon, sir. I..." She frowns a bit.

"What's the trouble, chérie?" offering a hand.

[jarndyceheir]

"I'm afraid... I'm not Miss Seagrim, sir. Is the trouble. And I wouldn't wish to deceive you."

Tom is in a good mood for once. He has spent a long time out by himself in the woods, he's hunted, explored, he even has some stubble. All in all, quite the intrepid and happy Tom. So happy and back to normal that the first thing he does upon seeing Molly is kiss her. A very long and passionate kiss.

And Molly, who is really Richard, is surprised and a bit overwhelmed and can't help but kiss him back, under the circumstances.

T: *waves madly* Hello there. You've been missed! ^_^

Tom keeps up the kiss for quite a bit longer before pulling back and pinching her playfully. "Hullo, Molly."

She winces a bit. "...hello, Tom." And he can probably immediately tell something is up. The accent, even for those two words, is all wrong.
