Richard's in the library, looking for something to read next, though he doesn't have anything particular in mind. But the other thing he might be looking for is a bit of convesation. Edgar will very nearly run into him, then, turning too quickly around the corner of a bookshelf--he only barely keeps his grip on his books, taking a sharp step back. "Mr. Carstone! I apologize--"

"No, no - not at all! I should not linger in such an inconvenient place." He moves a few steps to the side, if Edgar is in a hurry to get somewhere else.

He isn't in a hurry, though, and he smiles almost sheepishly. "You haven't inconvenienced me; it is only my way, to be perfectly oblivious to my surroundings. It has been some time since we have spoken, has it not?"
