Well, not so much "banned" as the owner of the theater chain just doesn't want to pay to have that shown on his screens. The chain, Megaplex theaters, is owned by a local billionaire, and since he really had to fight to get good movies in the first place, he's usually pretty cool about what gets shown. His movie buyer lives in Hawaii and has never even been here

I like your perspective on it. Seems all the of the media outside of Utah are doing the "Oh my god, there go those crazy conservatives from Utah again." lol
Well, to be fair, there are plenty of crazy conservatives here, and they're pretty noisy- but they're also a large chunk of you customer base, so it does well to throw them a bone now and then

I agree. Most of the reason why I even posted this, that unfortunately got swallowed by the knee-jerk rage on my part and lack of time while at work, was the overblown story and the reactions. Especially on both sides.
Miller has every right to show what he wants in his own theaters, just as much as the Tower does in theirs. I'm fine with that and in fact fully support him as he gives us one of the best theater going experiences in the valley.
But yeah, I agree with you on this one. It's just such a ridiculous article that you just have to laugh at it after the rage at idiocy has subsided. -J-

I also read this morning that "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" may be banned in certain theaters in Utah.
