Maybe I should have said "no GOOD excuse". :-3 Amtrak goes there, but I dunno how affordable they are form wherever you are. I'd be honored to finally meetcha face-to-face, though! Have I ever told you that Jagular was the very first fursuit I ever saw (pictures of)? And now I'm a tiny bit fursuit-obsessed! All your fault! :-3 *hugs* Thanks!
Perhaps, but it's not a good one... :-3 I told my perspective employers that this was an absolute could-not-be-avoided matter of life and fur, and if they wanted me, they'd have to find some way to deal with it. Lucky for me, they did. :-3 So, umm, wanna work in Alaska this summer? :-P It's (summer) seasonal, and the pay isn't incredible, but it's tons of fun and it's packaged with housing and food and the works! And you could prolly skip out the first couple weeks and go to AFF! :-3 Hey wait a minute... I know where you live! Don't tell me you've never been freight-train-hopping before! Some of them tracks lead to Spokane!
Mm, probably not gonna be able to get out of the city for work right away. I'm gonna have friends counting on me to pay my portion of the rent.
As for hopping freight trains? Nooooo friggin' way. a) it's trespassing and you get put in jail. b) if the trains shift while you're crossing a coupling? Squish-slice, no more leg, or torso, or whatever. Train cars are risky business even if you're SUPPOSED to be there. And anyways, I got school!
