Happy 39th to my One and Only.

Just a few minutes ago, I exited the front door to retrieve the bird feeders for another day, which are just off the patio, and a nice healthy raccoon who was cleaning up stray seed underneath, just out of view because the height of the patio, went lumbering off toward the back of the house. I had a brief encounter with my spirit animal last night near our front door. It was pretty cool.

We were prepared for rain, but by the actual ceremony and after, the songbirds were singing.

We finally got the weather to cooperate for this past weekend into the near future, so we at long last sealed the deck. We only need to go over the deck surface itself with one more coat, that'll be easy by comparison and it's protected now.
