Is this the fic you were talking to me about eons ago regarding a... starving Uruha [I'm assuming the one being described is him, right?] trying to be The One for Reita [because this is written in his POV]? =D
I like the clarity the piece possesses; no excessive descriptions to make one literally dizzy, no beating around the bush. Just something simple and to-the-point sentences that gives you an immediate idea of what the heck is going on. I think what I like most about this is that no matter what Uruha did, Reita still stood firm and didn't give him the light of day [yes, cruel, I know XD;] compared to other stories that would immediately curb this into something happy it almost looks forced, if not generic x-x Can't help but feel bad for Uruha though, doing almost everything he could but all for naught. Ah, but that is life sometimes, I guess~
Twas a refreshing read, sensible, cutting, but nothing blown out of proportion. You so should x-post this =DD [Sorry if this comment is a little short, kinda sick right now =_='']
a starving... uruha? i must have dropped the idea since i don't even remember me saying that eons ago. i remember that i had a fic in mind and i wasn't sure how to write it but i dont remember any details of that fic so yeah, i must have long forgotten about that one T-T i came up with this one like.. yesterday evening XDDDDDDD

Er... you planned on writing something about an anorexic!Uruha, but I chose to use the adjective "starving" because it's... prettier. Yes, prettier xDD But I think I changed your mind when I said that there are 2381289372987 fics of anorexic!J-Rockers around and I was trying to change your mind [again] because you can always put a different spin on things =D But conjuring this one up yesterday evening and being able to post it after writing is pretty fast for you!
I don't think there's anything wrong in your honesty, to-the-point writing style =D There will always be a need for those styles, especially if one tires of overly-described stories, which are a lot x-x [Wait a minute, you didn't specify whose POV you've written this in yet, I'm assuming on my own! XD;]
You're welcome for the comment ^^ And thanks, too =D I don't like falling ill >>; [Who doest? XD]
ah but you got it right, i'm writing in rei's POV. uruha's the skinny one here (i mean we all know reita's obsessed with weight training in real life XD) and reita's the fucked up one who's battling with his own self-worthiness and tied down by a past love that's why he's kinda 'playing' with uruha, transforming him into someone like his ex-lover and seeing to what lengths uruha will go for him but ultimately it breaks his heart and makes him feel worse about himself because as much as he likes uruha and wants to be moved by all that he's doing, he knows he can't for the above reasons and uruha will never be/replace his ex-lover. he can't let go of someone else and he's an even bigger asshole now, not worthy of uruha. it's like a vicious cycle. uruha on the other hand doesn't care much but is determined to prove to reita that he is worth all the outward and inward changes he's making and wants reita to learn how to love himself

i find it in some way poetic.
a bit sad, but somehow sweet with hints of bitterness.
