So wait. People are already applying to colleges? What?? I've barely decided if I actually like any of the only 4 schools I've looked at. I think I am in love with U of I, but I really spent less than 2 hours on the campus. I think Eastern is a good second choice, but once again, I spent less than 2 hours on the campus. dont sweat it too much laila... most colleges are basically the same... and you will find a career path you will enjoy at most any college

I'm thinking the same thing. My College pile is still quite high, and I have no desire to make these choices now. COD isn't such a bad idea either :/

It's scary, but most colleges, particularly U of I, have majors in everything and a lot of gen eds to do. So you can explore jobs where things are more realistic as to what you would really be doing. And quite a lot of people wind up in careers totally different from their majors, so I guess maybe that whole real-world job thing isn't as complicated and hard as it seems.
