I think I'm over the whole working hard in school thing. I busted my butt taking crazy hard classes, attempting to get good grades, and what for? Honestly, what does it boil down to? A lot of stress, getting a gpa that is .2 lower than the good schools accept, therefore only getting accepted to a state school that any idiot could get into. I ( Read more... )

Just because you don't have straight-A grades doesn't mean you should shrug off going to college. It's just a matter of finding what you want to do. Going to college is more of a specific, getting-ready-for-a-job thing, unless you're going to some liberal arts college. Even if it's an Ivy League school, it's not worth it if you don't know what you want to do. So unless you're really wanting to become a manager at Portillo's...
I'd give it some thought.
