Went for an interview with the Dean of Admissions for the Computing School at UEA on Monday. Which seemed to go well. I've been offered an unconditional place, and possibly a total 60+ points of transferred credit in my second and third years. Oh and while I'm commenting - are you interested in tabletop SG RP? I think a book exists, though they probably haven't done an Atlantis or crossover one yet, so maybe a crossover system could be adpated or something. :D Though you'd have to see Atlantis first...

But after Pete's D&D game I'm rather wishing such a thing could be held and I'd love to do plot for it but I'd not be able to GM because of lack of experience. Was hoping you or Andrew, being SG fans, might be interested.

I actually have the Stargate RPG book, if you'd like to borrow it :-) I'm not really in the position to run another game at the moment (I'm already running two, and am starting to have bit of a lack of time as my OU courses are starting again), but come September I could probably be persuaded...

Certainly interested in borrowing the book, and wouldn't mind any advice you have about running games, though I can't really run one myself because of lack of experience, so probably have to wait until September really. Do OU courses run over the summer too?

I'm studying at City College. I'm doing the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) course, on Fridays. It's a part-time course, so I'm doing some courses with the Open University along side it this year, then I'm planning to go to UEA in September.
