Yeah...

I saw Twilight yesterday, for which I mostly blame Ellie.  Not a good film.  However, it probably would have seemed better if they hadn't put a trailer for Underworld: Rise of the Lycans on immediately before it, as I spent the entirety of the movie wanting to be watching that instead...

i went home and watched Doomsday just so i could imagine the heroine in Underworld :D but we appear to disagree over Twilight...i think everyone would enjoy it a lot more if they were 14, and if all of us were female

I need to see that. I'd never heard of it before, but I've seen the woman in some other things.

I blame Ellie too.

"if they were 14, and if all of us were female"
This sounds like a hellish world.

You actually wanted to watch a movie in the Underworld series?
Good grief I didn't realise Twilight was that bad.

This. I mean, I thought it was probably pretty bad, but bad enough that it makes Underworld look appealing? Is that even possible without going through bad into some kind of negative-bad-world where bad is good and good has eyes that change colour like mood rings and twinkles when exposed to direct sunlight?

But Jarval is a massive enough WoD fangirl to not care.

(I'm assuming)

He heh, you should see him fangirling Underworld and Underworld: Evolution. It's tragic.

At least with Rise of the Lycans, they seem to have realised that the coolest characters are Lucien and that-dude-played-by-Bill-Nighy-oh-what-does-it-matter-what-he's-called-he's-still-Bill-Nighy, not wangsty female vamp in tight leather and random chosen one who becomes Samuel Haight a freakish werewolf/vampire. So they put them in the past with armour and horses and stuff and decided to make a film about Vampire: The Dark Ages.

I liked both Underworld and Underworld: Evolution. My expectations were not high for either, and I was suprised at how fun they both were. Looking forward to Rise of the Lycans (yay Lucien!).
