Last night I went to see Liz Phair.

I was really surprised by the show. Having never heard her stuff, only the fan base.. I naively expected to spend a couple hours listening to music I had no right to listen to..

However, I'm confused why most of her fans are lesbian women; specifically. Half her songs were about fucking some guy! She's sings

ugh.. i used to like liz phair before she sold out.. her old stuff was alot better... her songs were very women centered.. the old stuff at least.. wasnt so "i want/need a man" type crap that she plays now.. which created the lesbian following..

I feel bad for how I didn't appreciate them at the time of the show. After the second encore I was thinking "ok! OK! Shittt!" An hour after the show, I wanted more.

They played with Roots, and I think Razel.. Oh, and Atari Teenage Riot which got boo'd off. Roots was the shiznitlebambiznit though.
