I sent an email, as well... apologizing for our nation's actions, telling her that I'm ashamed to be American at this point because of Bush's actions... and giving her a little bit of advice on how to make a makeshift swamp cooler, so that the hours when it's just too hot can be made a little more bearable, when she can't run her air conditioner.

Excellent... that hopefully will make her life, and that of her friends, a bit more comfortable at the least.

If only Dubya would gain 1 IQ point (bringing him to 1), he might pull out the troops and this nightmare might end for her and her friends altogether.
