the thing about society is that dismissing women is really really deeply ingrained. I believe you when you say you think of names like labels, but it's compounded by trying to fight programming you've been getting since birth. If people don't pay attention specifically to the goals of inclusion, it's much less likely to happen.

lists are a good idea, until the habit of being inclusive gets more...habitual.
