My parrot got loose and Katrina is really upset about him. I came home last night and found her in her bed crying because she's worried about him. So we talked about prayer and petitioning God and while that was good. I was reminded of my own lack of faith in God. While i'm not concerned with the parrot whether he returns or not, i am concerned with my daughter's faith in God to save her. She took an icon of the Theotokos to her room with her. I just want God to be meaningful and real. I know God as my Saviour. I have no doubt He can save me, however I'm not so sure Katrina sees this same salvation

Today i'm not so bummed as I was a few days ago. You're one of many that has said the almost the same thing: You are Jason Grant, and what you choose to make of that is entirely up to you. Quite a few of my friends who are far more grounded in who they are have all said in one form or another, it what you do with you that matters most, not where your from or the accomplishments of generations past. I choose to believe them since these folks seem to all have a sense of origin. Besides, I think i'd much rather be a child of God any day.

So the person formally known as Jason would like to continue being known as Jason :)

I wanna visit when the leaves are turning. I have got to get some good pics. I sold one of my film cameras i got less than half of what i paid for it 4 years ago but now I can use that money to get a better lens. So let's plan on a date when the leaves are changing. I know the girls would love to come and visit as much as I would.
