Hi Hidan

I saw the ornament, I liked it too. I wonder if you, at some time, want to show me how you made those? I want to try out some new material next year, seeing that I´ll get more time once I need to stop working in a few months, and the guys won´t allow me to work on the metal, wood or heavy canvas for much longer. Carving wood, soft rock and bones could be fun, and a nice distraction from drawing.

Will you help me?

Bone actually ain't that soft - even if it's been twice cooked and then sterilized. Unless you want to paint it, then it should be no problem. But to carve the stuff, you're going to need to deal with some sharp shit - like a hacksaw or a chisel. If you're looking for a new crafty hobby that isn't drawing, you ever think of doing something like sewing, knitting, embroidery, spinning, or clay?

I know it´s hard, it´ll be a challenge, and I have worked with bone and horn before. I know the texture and the smell, and metal work isn´t exactly easy either.

I do not do sewing, knit or embroid, I don´t have the skill for it. Clay yes, but it makes my skin dry, the guys won´t appreciate that lol. Just because i´m a girl it doesn´t mean I can´t do tougher stuff like carving, you know X3

What about something like bead work/jewelry making? Look, I'm not trying to be sexist or anything, but if they're not letting you at wood, metal, or canvas and you don't want to draw...

Maybe collage, paper making, basket weaving, origami, paper mache...?
