this morning lucas and i went to our music together class and afterward we ran over to the amish market to pick up some red sprinkles! i'm *attempting to* make elmo cupcakes for his birthday party (please please please don't let it snow) on the 11th and i figure that i should probably do a dry run this weekend ( Read more... )

they make them at shop rite! i can ask my friend in the barkery how they do them and report back to you.

that sounds absolutely adorable!!! i've seen them in the bakeries too. elmo and cookie monster. don't forget to take pictures!

i've seen them at a few different bakeries and to be honest w/ you, 60% of those were nothing to write home about, so i know your will look great!! i've purchased them a few times for play groups and such, and every time i have, by the time i get them to my destination, most of them are eyeless, they've fallen off or gotten smooshed with the other cupcakes. all-in-all, kids still LOVE them, regardless of what they end up looking like!
