I've been listening to the new Jason Mraz album a lot lately... I find it to be relaxing, "feel good" music. :)

I love the song "Lucky" he does with Colbie Caillat. I'll have to check out the rest of his album. :) Do you plan to have music during labor?

I haven't decided yet! I'm doing Hypnobabies, which has a cd for labor that goes with it. I may make a music cd just in case though.

I have the Hypnobabies CDs too - my friend gave them to me after her delivery. :) I have been listening to them (the daily affirmations and whatnot) but I don't know if I'll be listening to the cd come labor time. I just love the positive and happy messages.

How about "I'm in You" by Peter Frampton? Very mellow, and Gabriel won't be in you for much longer. :)

Here's what my husband and best friend came up with:

"Goodbye Girl" by Bread

"Baby Don't Get Hooked on Me" by Matt Davis

"In the Ghetto" by Elvis (That's a joke, btw)

"Have You Never Been Mellow" by Olivia Newton John

Though I don't have specific song suggestions since I'm not really sure what kind of vibe you want, some of my fave indie artists who you should check out (if you haven't already) are Tony Lucca (of course!), Curtis Peoples, Keaton Simons, Todd Carey, Joe Firstman, and Ernie Halter. You can find them all on iTunes.
