What you wrote for your dad was beautiful.Im glad I let my mum read my journal,it lets her see another side to me and also help her to understand me better because as I am sure you know I am very similar to you.
That Bette Midler song is an awesome one.The words show such passion.

As a friend who has been there for you no matter what Im am glad I didnt walk away like the rest because it is worth it.I wouldnt have such a good friend now.

Mere words can not express the emotions I'm feeling at this moment. I know that I will be forever in debt to God for letting me raise and love you, and have you love me back. I can do or say nothing that could ever describe the joy you have given me over the years, not to mention right now. I do Love You more than I ever thought it possible to love someone. I know I do not deserve anything I have or love. But I am most grateful for you. Know that I would do anything within my power for you. I just know that the Angels sang the day you were born along with me. I have cried tears of sorrow when we are apart, but also tears of joy for memories well rooted in the love of a father and daughter.
