And no, I don't think you're selling out. It sounds like you will be offering a valuable service to your community. And your time and knowledge are worth something! (Don't sell yourself short!)
I see an advantage. The mom knows that the person taking care of her at the birth will be the same person she has come to trust through her chilbirth classes. She won't find herself in the middle of labor thinking or saying, "But the person who taught my class said ."
