Step one: Use your degree - maybe find a job teaching? I could see you teaching German to some snot nose kids who don't want to learn it.
Step two: Find a girl who will travel and who doesn't mind that you live with your parents.
Step three: Save up some money and BUY a place. You don't mind living with your parents, and as long as they don't mind you there take advantage of it.
Step four: Live.
