Relationships all have "prices," but perhaps that's not the best way to look at it. Relationships have to be mutual, but they shouldn't be seen as a burden (even though they come with strong costs).
And choices, although you'll have to live with the ramifications "from now until eternity" aren't necessarily permanent themselves. It's ok to change your mind about something. Just do whatever you think is best for you. Don't compromise your happiness for what you think you should do or because it might be better for another person. Not to say that you shouldn't be giving and make sacrifices for other people, but there has to be balance. Don't be afraid of making decisions either...you might miss out on stuff.
