One of my Aunts suffered a massive aneurism when she was really young, and underwent surgery that gave her a 10% chance of surviving. She survived. It was a long road, but now she's a Geneticist working on mapping Plant DNA. Not bad for someone who had to re-learn literally everything from scratch.
That is so, so tragic. I'm really sorry, Jason. I hope there will be further improvements. I wish I had something more I could say than that. *Hugs* Try to stay positive, maybe with some luck there will be further recovery.
Oh, I've always tried to stay positive... Even though the doctors always said really really negative things about her condition. She definitely seems like she's improving. Thank you.
Dude, I am so sorry to hear that. *Hugs* I really, really hope that she manages to get better, even if it takes a long time. :(
My Grandma passed away in a similar fashion - I saw her every week, so just a few days after one visit, I got the call that she'd had a stroke. She could still recognize people a little, but things steadily went downhill from there. I hope that your mom manages to do the opposite. I know that if she has any choice in the matter, she'll fight to stay with you. :)
It's hard, having someone that you just saw, and was just fine, be hurt like that. But I think Alex said it best - no matter what happens, I think that your mom would be proud of you, and would love to see you continue to be an amazing person.

I really hope she pulls through. Stay strong, man. I'm sure you have lots of people already, but if you ever want to talk or need help... I'm here.
You're a wonderful person, Jason. I'm willing to bet your mother is very proud of you.

I think she'll pull through, we're all trying to be really strong for her.
She always was proud of me. I was the first one to go to college out of the five of us (I'm the middle child.)
